Recently, my favorite epoxy resin company reached out to me and asked if they could send me a FREE kit to make anything I wanted and then share my experience. So, here we are! Let's dive into why I use ArtResin when creating breastmilk and other DNA keepsakes.
I have used ArtResin for a couple of years now and it is, BY FAR, my favorite resin to use when making breastmilk keepsakes. It makes the preserved milk look so fabulous and it really shows off the color of the milk. I add NO coloring to preserved breastmilk (unless requested) so each piece is unique in its hue but ArtResin really makes it POP! Bubbles in ArtResin (and others) can be avoided by stirring slowly. But bubbles happen! I have a kitchen torch that I use to gently heat the top of the resin (both after mixing and pouring) to pop any bubbles that may have occurred during the mixing or pouring process. A lighter for smaller keepsakes has also served me well in popping bubbles. But again, the key is to stir slowly to help prevent lots of bubbles from forming. I have heard people say that ArtResin can't be used in molds and I always wonder where they heard that from. I made a SUPER COOL, glitter filled brain using my ArtResin kit and a silicone brain mold. It turned out great! I also regularly use small silicone molds to create DNA keepsakes and I get wonderful results every time. Do you like crafting? Using ArtResin is one of my favorite ways to craft. I have used it to make some Christmas gifts this year and they have all turned out fabulous! If you're looking into a new art medium, check out ArtResin or another epoxy to start creating with. I want to thank ArtResin again for sending me a free kit to create with. From keepsakes to glitter brains to Christmas gifts, it has not let me down! It is my favorite epoxy resin to create with and I am such a lucky lady to have been given an opportunity to spread my ArtResin love! You can checkout ArtResin at www.artresin.com and it is also available for purchase on Amazon!
